A luxurious hospitality Group in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Cluster Hygiene Officer with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement hygiene protocols and standards across multiple locations within the cluster.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations.
  • Train and educate staff members on proper hygiene practices and protocols.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to procure and distribute necessary hygiene supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor and manage waste disposal procedures to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Investigate and address any hygiene-related complaints or issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with external agencies or authorities for compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and reports on hygiene-related activities and compliance.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in hygiene standards.
  • Assist in developing crisis management plans related to hygiene and sanitation emergencies.
  • Foster a culture of hygiene awareness and responsibility among employees and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-location or cluster setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of hygiene standards, sanitation regulations, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols, risk assessment, and crisis management procedures.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively train and educate staff on hygiene protocols.
  • Ability to conduct thorough audits, and assessments, and implement corrective measures.
  • Proficiency in documentation and report writing related to hygiene compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage hygiene supplies, equipment, and waste disposal.
  • Knowledge of local health regulations and the ability to liaise with relevant authorities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to handle hygiene-related issues efficiently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and a proactive approach to maintaining hygiene standards.
