A leading Hospital Group in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Clinical Nutritionist with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Implement action plans to promote person-centred care in your area.
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of patients to identify dietary needs and potential health risks.
  • Analyse medical histories and laboratory data to tailor nutrition plans to individual health conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized dietary plans based on patients’ medical conditions, lifestyle, and dietary preferences.
  • Educate patients on the importance of nutrition and its impact on health.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition interventions into overall patient care plans.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and modify nutrition plans accordingly.
  • Provide clear and concise nutritional education to patients and their families, emphasizing dietary modifications and lifestyle changes.
  • Offer guidance on food choices, portion control, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
  • Conduct regular follow-up sessions to assess compliance and address any challenges patients may encounter.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of nutritional assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
  • Ensure timely and thorough documentation by regulatory standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition.
  • Apply evidence-based practices to enhance the quality of nutrition services provided.
  • Ensure the preparation of reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet the departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by HOD and Participate in hospital committees, task-force meetings and other meetings as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
