The Al Marai Quality Audit Manager will be responsible for delivering the Almarai Business Plan by Food Safety auditing and ensuring compliance with management systems across the Dairy & Juice Business. This role involves reviewing the compliance of business food safety and quality systems, managing risk processes, and implementing food safety and quality systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Audit and Compliance Management:
    • Lead and execute internal audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
    • Monitor and review the implementation of HACCP, ISO 9001-2008, ISO 22000:2005, BRC, and FSSC22000 standards.
    • Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address non-conformities.

  • Food Safety and Quality Systems Implementation:
    • Develop and implement food safety and quality management systems across the Dairy & Juice Business.
    • Ensure the alignment of quality systems with Almarai’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality systems into business processes.

  • Risk Management:
    • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential food safety and quality issues.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of risk management processes and make necessary adjustments.
  • Training and Development:
    • Train and mentor staff on food safety and quality standards and practices.
    • Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of team members.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness within the organization.

  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
    • Communicate audit results and improvement plans to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a food-related discipline.
  • Professional Certifications:
    • Formal training in HACCP, ISO 9001-2008, ISO 22000:2005, BRC, or FSSC22000.
  • Experience:
    • Seasoned professional with 10-15 years in a senior or group QA role focused on Dairy & Juice in a multinational company.
    • In-depth experience with dairy processes and GFSI auditing in a multinational company context.
    • Minimum of 5 years of auditing experience.

  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.
    • Excellent auditing and compliance management skills.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
