An FMCG Company in UAE is looking for an Administrator – HSE with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on all HSE matters, including policies, training records, and inspection reports.
  • Organize safety drills, training sessions, and workshops to enhance employee workplace safety and environmental awareness.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor the implementation of safety protocols and report violations or risks to the HSE Manager.
  • Manage incident reports, near-miss records, and track safety performance indicators.
  • Work closely with relevant departments to ensure continuous improvement of safety and environmental procedures.
  • Coordinate with local regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with UAE safety laws.
  • Participate in the investigation of accidents and incidents to identify root causes and propose preventive measures.
  • Keep abreast of industry standards and best practices in HSE management and ensure their integration into company policies.

HSE -Duties

  • Safety Incident Rate: Reduction in Lost Time Injuries (LTIs) and near-miss reports.
  • Compliance Rate: Percentage of compliance with UAE safety laws and internal audits.
  • Training Completion: Percentage of staff trained and certified on HSE policies annually.

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in an HSE role within manufacturing, food production, or similar industries.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing safety procedures and regulations.

Education- HSE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science (BS) or Engineering (BE) or related field.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).

Certifications & Skills- Health and Safety

  • Strong understanding of ISO and OHSAS standards and certifications.
  • Proficient in HSE documentation, reporting, and compliance management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct risk assessments and audits.
  • Strong ownership and result orientation with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Effective planning and decision-making skills.
