An entertainment venture in Riyadh, KSA, is looking for a Food Safety Supervisor with the following:
Supervisor – Food Safety plays a critical role in ensuring robust governance, hygiene compliance, and food safety assurance across all catering operations within the Qiddiya Workers’ Villages. This position is responsible for the effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of food safety systems in line with Saudi regulatory requirements, international food safety standards.
The role ensures consistent hygiene practices, thorough inspections, accurate documentation, and timely corrective actions to maintain full audit readiness while safeguarding the health and wellbeing of all residents.To ensure continuous compliance with food safety requirements across all kitchens and dining facilities through structured inspections, training verification, documentation control, and corrective action follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and verify food safety control systems based on HACCP and FSMS principles across all catering facilities.
- Conduct routine hygiene inspections, temperature monitoring, and food safety verification checks in kitchens and dining halls.
- Ensure all food safety documentation, logs, checklists, and inspection records are accurately maintained and readily available for audits.
- Support investigations into food safety incidents, complaints, or non-conformities and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Verify staff compliance with personal hygiene standards, medical fitness requirements, and mandatory food safety training certifications.
- Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance and HSE teams to support audit planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide on-site coaching and guidance to catering teams to reinforce safe food handling, storage, preparation, and service practices.
- Completion of planned food safety and hygiene inspection schedules with clearly documented findings and corrective actions.
- Maintenance of up-to-date food safety records, compliance logs, and verification documents.
- Issuance and closure of non-conformance reports within agreed timelines, supported by objective evidence.
- Verified reports confirming staff food safety training and certification compliance.
- Active support during internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
Food Safety Supervisor – Riyadh

Qualifications & Certifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Safety, Public Health, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
- Preferred food safety certifications such as HACCP, ISO 22000 Awareness, or recognized Food Handler Certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in food safety supervision within catering, hospitality, institutional food services, or large-scale food operations.
- Proven experience supporting audits and implementing structured food safety compliance programs.
- Strong knowledge of food safety inspection methods and documentation control.
- Practical experience in HACCP/FSMS implementation and verification.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective action follow-up.
- Training verification, compliance monitoring, and staff coaching skills.
- Incident reporting, investigation, and escalation capabilities.
