Quality Assurance Executive wanted at a leading ice cream manufacturing facility in Dubai, UAE with the following Food Science, Microbiology expertise:

Position: Food Quality Assurance Executive – Ice Cream Manufacturing
Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure food quality assurance and quality control for ice cream and frozen dessert products in a manufacturing environment
  • Monitor ice cream quality parameters including fat content, overrun, total solids, texture, color, flavor, and melting characteristics
  • Conduct in-process quality checks during pasteurization, homogenization, aging, freezing, and hardening stages
  • Perform finished product inspections to ensure compliance with approved quality specifications and food safety standards
  • Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, GHP, and ISO 22000 food safety systems in ice cream production.
  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure proper documentation and corrective actions
  • Carry out sensory evaluation of ice cream products for taste, aroma, mouthfeel, and visual quality
  • Ensure cold chain integrity and temperature control throughout production, storage, and distribution
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests such as pH, acidity, total solids, and hygiene-related checks
  • Identify quality deviations, non-conformances, and support CAPA implementation
  • Maintain QA records, batch manufacturing records, traceability logs, and inspection reports
  • Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections in line with Dubai Municipality and UAE food safety regulations
  • Coordinate with production, R&D, and warehouse teams to improve product quality and consistency.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food quality assurance or quality control within ice cream or dairy manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ice cream processing, dairy quality standards, and frozen food safety requirements
  • Hands-on experience with HACCP, GMP, GHP, and ISO 22000 food safety management systems.
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing, quality documentation, and audit preparedness.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the UAE or GCC food manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
