As one of the fastest-growing brands in Dubai’s premium bakery and coffee segment, now looking for a Quality Assurance Officer who will play a key role in maintaining and elevating our quality standards across all production lines — from raw ingredients to the final delicious doughnut.
Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in line with Dubai Municipality and international food standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in bakery and pastry production, with a keen eye for detail, documentation accuracy, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Control
- Implement and monitor daily quality checks for incoming raw materials, production batches, and finished goods.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and microbiological testing to ensure product consistency and freshness.
- Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and verify compliance with HACCP, GMP, and FSMS requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed QA reports, audit documentation, and product traceability files.
- Support product recall readiness and ensure all QA documentation aligns with internal and external audit standards.
Audit & Compliance
- Assist in internal and third-party audits, ensuring adherence to local and international food safety regulations.
- Liaise with Dubai Municipality, suppliers, and production teams to address and close non-conformities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company quality manuals.
Team Collaboration & Training
- Work closely with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to identify potential quality risks and implement preventive actions.
- Conduct internal training sessions to promote awareness of food safety, hygiene, and documentation procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within the bakery, pastry, or food manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of food safety management systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, FSMS).
- Experience with bakery product testing, shelf-life validation, and documentation control is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for QA reporting and data management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
