Food Safety and Document Controller Executive

A Food Stuff Trading and Distribution Company in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Food Safety and Document Control with the following :

Job Responsibilities

• Food Safety Compliance:
  • Maintain and update all Food Safety Management System (FSMS) documentation, including HACCP plans, SOPs, and audit records.
  • Support the implementation of Dubai Municipality food safety regulations and ensure compliance across all departments.
• Document Control:
  • Develop and manage the company’s document control system for food safety and quality-related documents.
  • Ensure timely review, revision, and distribution of controlled documents in compliance with ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, and certifications.

• Audit & Reporting:
  • Prepare documentation and records required for internal audits, external audits, and third-party inspections.
  • Assist in responding to non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor critical control points and support traceability documentation for food safety.
• Training & Coordination:
  • Assist the Food Safety Officer in conducting training sessions for staff on food hygiene, HACCP awareness, and documentation practices.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external auditors to ensure documentation readiness at all times.
• Regulatory Support:
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality Food Control Department requirements and other UAE food safety authorities.
  • Keep updated with UAE food safety laws, ISO standards, and best practices in documentation control.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in food safety, document control, or quality management within the food manufacturing, catering, or hospitality industry in Dubai/UAE.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and Dubai Municipality food safety regulations.
• Experience in document control systems, audit preparation, and compliance reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and training skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple documentation processes simultaneously.
• Dubai Municipality Food Safety certification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic/Hindi will be an added advantage.
