Quality Controller with hands-on experience in food manufacturing within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the production process.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor food handling, processing, and storage practices to ensure adherence to local and international food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, etc.).
- Maintain complete and accurate quality records and documentation including batch records, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), sensory/organoleptic and chemical test results.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory and QC equipment such as pH meters, thermometers, viscometers, weighing scales, etc.
- Ensure temperature control systems are functional and that logs are maintained as per internal protocols.
- Investigate product non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Supervise and ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of production areas, equipment, utensils, and transportation vehicles.
- Conduct regular inspections of personal hygiene, grooming standards, and staff compliance with food safety protocols.
- Oversee pest control programs and waste disposal to ensure compliance with municipal regulations.
- Support the team during internal and external audits, including those conducted by third-party agencies and regulatory authorities.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Food Safety role within a UAE-based food manufacturing company.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and Dubai Municipality Food Code.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to interpret and report quality data accurately.

- Hands-on experience with lab equipment and digital tools used in quality monitoring and reporting.
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Must be willing to work in shifts and respond to quality-related issues on-site.
- Experience in shelf-life extension, food preservation, or natural preservative techniques will be an added advantage.
