Hygiene – Sanitation Supervisor wanted at a leading Bakery Manufacturer, in Saudi Arabia and UAE, for the location Saudi Arabia with the following :

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily hygiene and sanitation operations across all Bakery production areas to ensure compliance with company standards and food safety regulations.
  • Hygiene – Sanitation Supervisor develops, implement, and monitor cleaning schedules for production equipment, processing lines, work areas, and common facilities.
  • Ensure proper usage, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals and sanitizers in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular hygiene audits and inspections of production lines, equipment, and storage areas to identify potential risks or non-conformities.

  • Lead and train the sanitation team to maintain high standards of personal hygiene, cleaning procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, cleaning logs, chemical usage, and inspection reports for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to address any hygiene-related non-compliance or deviations.
  • Monitor pest control measures and coordinate with external pest control services as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues that may compromise hygiene standards and follow up to ensure timely resolution.

HACCP – Implement and Execute FSMS
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cleaning effectiveness, optimize resource usage, and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure that waste management procedures are effectively implemented and that waste disposal complies with company and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare reports and present updates on hygiene and sanitation performance to management.

Job Qualifications – Hygiene – Sanitation Supervisor

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in hygiene and sanitation supervision within the food manufacturing, bakery, or FMCG industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) and sanitation best practices.
  • Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation chemicals, methods, and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret and implement cleaning and hygiene SOPs effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a team.
  • Good communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and extended hours when required.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
