Quality Control Executive vacancy at a leading Food and Beverage Services Production Company in Kochi- Kerala, india with the folllwoing:

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with company specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct physical, chemical, and organoleptic testing of flavours and related ingredients.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) like ISO and HACCP.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test results, inspection reports, and quality records.
  • Report any deviations or non-conformities to the Quality Manager and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Support in calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure quality standards are met at every stage of manufacturing.
  • Participate in internal audits and support external audits by providing required documents and test records.
  • Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality control processes.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory and production areas.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related science discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the flavours, food ingredients, or food manufacturing industry.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000, qms software for manufacturing is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with quality control in laboratory testing methods, statistics and quality control and basic analytical instruments.
  • Good observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work in shifts if required.
