Multicuisine Restaurant in Dubai UAE is looking for a Food Safety Officer with Multicuisine Restaurant Food Safety experience and withnthe following:
Responsibilities
- Food Safety Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Food Safety Management System (FSMS) of Multicuisine Restaurant aligned with HACCP principles, Dubai Municipality guidelines, and other relevant food safety standards.
- Inspections and Audits:
Perform regular inspections and internal audits of all food storage, preparation, and service areas to verify compliance with hygiene standards and statutory requirements.
- Hazard Identification:
Identify potential food safety risks and implement effective preventive and corrective measures promptly.
- Staff Training and Awareness:
Design and deliver engaging training sessions for all kitchen and service staff on proper food handling, personal hygiene, sanitation, cross-contamination prevention, and allergen management.
- Monitoring and Documentation:
Monitor critical control points (CCPs), maintain detailed food safety logs, temperature records, cleaning schedules, pest control reports, and other documentation required for audits and inspections.
- Incident Management:
Investigate food safety-related complaints or incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and develop action plans to prevent recurrence. - Regulatory Compliance:
Stay current with local food safety regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and emerging industry trends, ensuring the restaurant always meets or exceeds legal obligations. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations and kitchen teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in food safety processes and operational efficiency. - Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive reports on food safety performance, non-conformance trends, audit results, and recommend practical solutions to management and stakeholders.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of years of proven experience as a Food Safety Officer, ideally within a busy restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment in the UAE.
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP principles, ISO 22000 standards, and local food safety laws and regulations.
- Relevant food safety certifications such as HACCP Level 3/4, Food Safety Management, PIC certification (Dubai Municipality), or equivalent.
- Additional HSE or NEBOSH certifications will be an advantage.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, kitchen workflows, supplier audits, and inventory controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software for audits, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
