Quality Control Assistant vacancy at a leading Food Export and FMCG Industry in UAE :

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Daily QC Operations:
    Assist in monitoring the production, packaging, and storage processes to ensure all food products meet company quality and safety standards.
  • Perform Quality Inspections:
    Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods. Report any deviations or non-conformities immediately and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure adherence to UAE regulations as well as international export standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and country-specific food safety requirements.
  • Documentation & Record-Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of inspections, laboratory results, quality reports, and batch release documentation to ensure traceability and audit readiness.

  • Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams:
    Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to resolve quality issues related to raw materials, packaging, or processing.
  • Assist in Customer Complaint Handling:
    Help investigate quality-related complaints from international clients and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Participate in Internal Audits:
    Support internal audits and prepare documentation for regulatory and third-party audits related to food safety and quality.
  • Promote Food Safety Culture:
    Support awareness and training initiatives to strengthen food safety and hygiene practices across departments.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing or exporting environment, preferably in quality control or quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and other food safety systems.
  • Experience working with export documentation and international food quality standards is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of hygiene practices, lab testing procedures, and food storage conditions.
