Quality Controller Entry-Level vacancy to join a growing team. Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality checks and visual inspections on fresh-cut and sanitized produce.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
Inspection & Monitoring
- Conduct routine quality inspections of incoming raw materials and outgoing processed produce.
- Monitor for any signs of spoilage, contamination, or non-compliance during various stages of processing and packaging.
- Check product temperature, texture, color, and packaging integrity to ensure high standards.
Compliance & Record-Keeping
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, company SOPs, and HACCP guidelines.
- Accurately document inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions taken.
- Maintain updated checklists, logs, and reports for internal audits.
Team Coordination
- Work closely with the production and sanitation team to report and resolve quality concerns immediately.
- Support in root cause analysis and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Assist in the training and awareness sessions on hygiene and safety standards for production staff.
Hygiene & Sanitation
- Verify that cleaning and sanitation practices are performed as per company protocols.
- Report any issues with equipment or facility hygiene that could affect product quality.
- Assist in implementing HACCP and internal quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
- Support training of production staff on quality control procedures and good hygiene practices.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in the food industry, preferably with fresh produce.
- Basic knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and food hygiene practices.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Female candidates preferred.
- Must be on a valid Spouse Visa.
