A restaurant chain in Abu Dhabi, UAE is looking for a QHSE Officer in Food Safety with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards across 40+ QSR outlets.
- Maintain and enforce employee grooming standards in all stores.
- Monitor and program Critical Control Points (CCP) to ensure food safety.
- Conduct regular food safety and quality checks throughout all processes, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Perform sanitation verification, allergen testing, and ensure proper cleaning of equipment and work areas.
- Record and file all relevant documentation, logs, and records related to food safety.
- Ensure adherence to correct recipe guidelines during food processing.
- Monitor employee compliance with food safety protocols, SQF standards, and worker safety practices.
- Train and educate staff on food safety regulations and best practices.
- Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains, and laboratory testing as directed.
- Conduct regular inspections on products, equipment, and machinery to ensure they meet food safety and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor food safety procedures, specifications, and standards to align with the company’s quality goals.
- Lead research projects focused on improving product taste, preservation methods, and packaging solutions.
- Ensure that food products are safe and meet high-quality standards before release to customers.
Job Qualifications
- Municipality Certification / HACCP Certification or similar food safety certifications are required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, particularly in QSR environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail with accurate and precise record-keeping skills.
- Organized, goal-oriented team player with strong leadership abilities.
- Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
