An event Catering services Industry in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Food Safety and Hygiene Officer with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures per local regulations and company standards for catering company services.
- Regular inspections and audits should be conducted per FSMS (Food Safety Management) to identify potential hazards and promptly take corrective actions.
- Provide training to staff on food safety practices and hygiene standards.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations in kitchen operations, dining areas, and other relevant spaces.
- Investigate incidents and complaints related to food safety and health, and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food safety and health inspections.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Food or Health and Safety Officer or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards. HACCP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Certification in Food Safety (e.g., HACCP, level 2 food safety and hygiene . food and safety level 3, food safety level 4) is preferred.
- Candidates with a vehicle and U.A.E. driving license are preferred.
