A Seafood Company in Abu Dhabi, UAE is hiring a Quality Controller with Seafood Processing experience and Food Science qualifications in or UAE Seafood Industry
Job Responsibilities – Seafood Quality Controller
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks at various stages of Fresh seafood and Frozen seafood production.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for seafood quality and safety.
- Inspection:
- Efficiently handle import inspections and ensure compliance with import regulations.
- Identify and address quality issues promptly to prevent defective products from reaching the market.
- Process Improvement:
- Monitor and evaluate seafood processing techniques and equipment for optimal performance.
- Implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues and enhance production processes.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, inspections, and compliance activities.
- Prepare document control reports on quality assurance findings and recommendations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with production and management teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with Food Safety team members to ensure a cohesive approach to quality control.
Job Qualifications
- Education: BSc Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Seafood Food Processing, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in Seafood production as a Quality Controller or a related fish or Seafood industry is essential.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of seafood processing techniques and equipment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
- Proficiency in using quality control instruments and ERP software.
