MARS the MNC is hiring a Product Development Technologist with Food Technologist experience:
Responsibilities
- New Product Development: which delivers business growth, with consideration to product brief, consumer needs, food safety, shelf stability, integrity, and activity timings.
- Drive concept innovation from consumer insights through iterative prototyping working with Franchise, Packaging and Process.
- Driving Value Leadership projects via identifying cost improvement areas within our current recipes and procedures to help unlock margin to invest.
- Provide all supporting documentation – artwork, Radar recipe, PIFs and finished product specifications, compliance and ensures product quality and food safety.
- Driving and supporting our Food Purpose.
- Experience in Sensory Evaluations would be beneficial.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Nutrition or equivalent degree preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a Food Technologist role with demonstrated success of your portfolio.
- A genuine energy and passion for the food industry and culinary.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and demonstrate new product innovations to our key customers.
- Proven ability to create collaborative relationships across functions, forming strong partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of product development from bench top to full scale production.
