An Airline Company in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Food Safety Specialist with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Food Safety business partner for the Business unit of Emirates Flight Catering.
  • Conduct inspections at the catering units as per the defined schedule and timely submission of reports.
  • Conduct toolbox talk (TBT) on Food Safety topics on a weekly/ monthly basis.
  • Test Food, Water, Ice and Swab samples collected from EKFC business units as per the sampling plan.
  • Investigate and respond to foreign object complaints and alleged food poisoning complaints.
  • Participate in the Food Safety Walkthroughs in production and operations areas as per schedule
  • Ensure verification of thermometers is completed as per schedule.
Jobs in Food Processing
  • Prepare monthly Food Safety Performance trend reports and conduct Monthly meetings with the stakeholders.
  • Participate in the FSSC 22000/ BRC/ United Airlines/ British Airways/ Madina Internal audit.
  • Facilitate airline, commercial customer and regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Conduct supplier audit as per plan.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/ Diploma in Food Safety/Microbiology/Biotechnology.
  • Advanced Food Hygiene Course (Preferable).
  • Exposure to FSSC 22000/ BRC and ISO 17025 certifications.
