A leading Retail Supermarket chain in Abu Dhabi, UAE is hiring a Food Safety Officer with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest food hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen and Monitor production areas for adherence to safety procedures.
  • Engage in effective problem-solving for safety issues and Perform and record meticulous food safety inspections.
  • Conduct quality and safety checks for all food products and Communicate findings on safety and quality to relevant departments.
  • Report and rectify unsanitary conditions in food areas and Report maintenance needs for food preparation equipment.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food premises and Report and mitigate potential hazards promptly.
  • Prioritize employee safety and prevent injuries; Promote health and safety awareness in all tasks
  • Maintain highest standards of personal hygiene for employees and Ensure no transfer of food items without quality approval.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Food Science.
  • Female candidates are preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience (GCC experience not mandatory).
