Responsibilities
- To perform an inspection of the Food Establishment.
- To implement relevant laws and regulations.
- Inspect food handling, storage, and preparation practices to maintain sanitation standards.
- Evaluate the cleanliness and condition of kitchen facilities and equipment.
- Collect samples for testing and analysis to verify food quality and safety.
- Document inspection findings, violations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Educate and advise food handlers on proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Enforce regulations and take appropriate actions, such as issuing warnings or citations, to address violations.
- Collaborate with other agencies and authorities to address food safety concerns.
- Stay updated on regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices related to food safety.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in food safety inspection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Food Safety or Food Handlers.
- ISO 1702 Certified.
- Good Command in English and Arabic.
