Quality Assurance Assistant

A food and beverage manufacturing Industry in Dubai, UAE is looking for QA Assistant in their Production!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate quality events, incidents, queries, and complaints
• Keep up to date with all related quality legislation and compliance issues
• Compile and prepare materials for submission to regulatory agencies (municipality)
• Ensure that system audits are conducted
• Undertake internal audits as per the agreed schedule set by the QA Manager / Supervisor
• Communicate any critical compliance risks noted from these activities to senior management
• Maintain the QA Program
• Monitor and ensure compliance with site’s Food Safety program through internal auditing and reporting deficiencies to QA Supervisor & QA Manager
• Oversee the implementation of suggestions and preventative actions raised from the audits
• Report audit score and findings to Senior Management after the audit is conducted.
• Assist in the development of the quality culture on site to increase employee awareness to factors that may compromise food safety through guidance and training
• Provide regular training – as directed by the QA Manager

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Technology or any Science related field
• Basic Knowledge of HACCP / Food Safety qualification
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience within an FMCG operation with a strong understanding of Food Safety programs, HACCP principles, and inspection and audit programs.
• Ability to conduct internal audits based on HACCP / Food Safety Systems
• Ability to conduct micro test analysis for food processing products
• Food product knowledge from a manufacturing site
• Worked in a manufacturing/food processing company
