Job Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting pharma laboratory experiments and research projects in biotechnology, molecular biology, and related fields.
- Perform DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and other molecular biology techniques.
- Support cell culture maintenance, microbial testing, and biochemical assays.
- Collect, analyze, and document research data with accuracy.
Vaccines :
Conduct research, formulation, and development of veterinary vaccines, with a focus on dog vaccines, including rabies vaccine and other animal immunization products.Perform cell culture, virus propagation, antigen preparation, and purification processes under GMP and biosafety guidelines.Support vaccine scale-up, fermentation, filtration, and downstream processing in compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of batch production, validation protocols, and laboratory reports for regulatory submission and audits.Conduct stability studies, potency testing, sterility testing, and quality control of vaccine batches.Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with GMP, GLP, ISO standards, and international vaccine manufacturing regulations.Assist in drafting and reviewing documentation for pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, including dossiers, validation reports, SOPs, and regulatory submissions for rabies vaccine approval.
Work closely with R&D, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure continuous improvement.Participate in internal audits, external inspections, and support compliance with WHO, OIE, and national veterinary drug regulations.Follow biosafety and biosecurity protocols while handling live viruses and cell lines to ensure safe laboratory and production operations.
- Prepare lab reports, presentations, and scientific documentation.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of reagents, buffers, and laboratory materials.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as per SOPs.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and contribute to research publications.
- Stay updated with advancements in biotechnology and related disciplines.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical manufacturing type Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.Skills:
Basic knowledge of molecular biology and microbiology techniques.Familiarity with laboratory equipment and protocols.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to document research findings accurately.
Attention to detail and adherence to lab safety regulations.Good communication and teamwork abilities.UAE or GCC residents preferred.Experience: 0-1 year of experience in a laboratory setting (internships or academic research experience preferred).
Hands-on experience in vaccine production, especially dog vaccines or rabies vaccine development and manufacturing (preferred).
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, GMP, GLP, and ISO 17025 or ISO 9001 standards.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques, cell culture, ELISA, PCR, viral titration, and immunological assays.Understanding of vaccine formulation, adjuvant selection, antigen purification, and cold chain management.Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in vaccine production or testing processes.Good communication skills for report writing, documentation, and collaborating with regulatory and quality teams.
