Biotechnologist- Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in developing and commercializing biological systems and sustainable bioproducts.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing systems to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Develop and optimize protein purification and concentration protocols for complex biological mixtures.
  • Translate innovative research concepts into scalable and defined bioprocesses and system designs.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D teams and external fabrication and vendor partners to incorporate cutting-edge technologies and standards.
  • Generate detailed design documents, technical specifications, and requirement analyses.

Qualifications Biotechnologist -Saudi Arabia

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Master’s degree holders require a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • PhD holders should have at least 4 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven expertise in concept prototyping, pilot plant design (including skid-mounted systems), and product development.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in an industrial research or engineering role focused on bioprocessing or biotechnology.
