Are you passionate about ensuring the purity and quality of food products? Our honey processing facility in Dubai is looking for a Food Technologist – Quality to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our honey products meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This is a great opportunity for food professionals who are detail-oriented and experienced in laboratory analysis and quality systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee quality control testing for raw honey, in-process samples, and final products.
  • Analyze parameters such as moisture content, HMF levels, diastase activity, and sensory attributes to ensure compliance with Codex, ESMA, and Dubai Municipality regulations.
  • Verify the quality and traceability of incoming raw materials and packaging.
  • Implement and maintain HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP protocols across production lines.
  • Investigate quality issues and perform root cause analysis with corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain quality records, lab data, and inspection logs.
  • Assist in internal audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring continuous compliance.
  • Work closely with production, procurement, and R&D teams to ensure product consistency and innovation.
  • Train and supervise QC staff on sampling procedures, hygiene practices, and documentation.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in the food industry; honey or natural product experience is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of international honey quality standards (e.g., Codex, EU directives, Gulf Standards).
  • Proficient in lab testing techniques and use of equipment like refractometers, spectrophotometers, and moisture analyzers.
  • Familiar with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and Dubai Municipality food safety guidelines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic or Hindi language skills are a plus.
