Hygiene and Quality Officer vacancy at a leading Luxury chain of Hotels and Hospitality Group in Dubai UAE !
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Hotel’sFood Safety and Quality Management Systems (FSQMS) in accordance with HACCP and ISO standards.
- Perform routine hygiene and quality audits across kitchen, food storage, service, and housekeeping areas to identify non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of sanitation procedures and pest control programs to ensure a hygienic working environment.
- Analyze hygiene and quality data to prepare detailed performance reports for management review and regulatory audits.
- Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE food safety laws, and international standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and Codex Alimentarius.
- Design and deliver training programs for staff on personal hygiene, food handling practices, and quality control measures.
- Investigate and resolve food safety incidents and customer complaints related to hygiene and quality; implement root cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with culinary, housekeeping, and engineering teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on guest safety and satisfaction.
- Stay informed about the latest developments and innovations in food hygiene, sanitation technologies, and quality assurance.
- Maintain accurate and updated documentation including SOPs, audit checklists, risk assessments, and corrective action records.
Job Qualifications– Hygiene and Quality Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in food safety, quality control, or hygiene management within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Certifications in HACCP, Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), or equivalent (ISO 22000 preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of local and international food safety regulations, including Dubai Municipality Food Code.
- Demonstrated experience with quality management systems (QMS) and hygiene auditing tools.
