Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of fresh, frozen, and packaged food products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor storage conditions, temperature controls, and shelf-life of perishable goods.
- Ensure all food products meet Dubai Municipality regulations, HACCP, and ISO standards.
- Investigate and report quality issues, product defects, and customer complaints.
- Implement corrective actions to address non-compliance and quality deviations.
- Train store staff on food safety, hygiene, and proper handling practices.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality control reports.
- Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food quality control, preferably in a supermarket or retail food industry.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and Dubai Municipality food safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
